Start from the unit you have
Use the trading plaza, turn trades on, and say what you are offering. Name the unit you want once you have a target. A line such as a shiny unit for a named shiny target is easier to answer than a request for any offer.
After you trade into gems or a crate, change the message so it matches what you hold now.
People in the plaza may be mid-trade, have requests off, accept friends only, or be idle. If requests are friends-only, ask before you add them. A friend request is not a trade.
Read the whole window
Separate the gem number from every unit. An example used in trade walkthroughs is an offer around 300,000 gems: the gem line is not the decision if the units in the window are wrong. A larger package, such as 1.1 million gems plus several units, still needs each unit checked.
Confirm all of these before you accept:
- The exact unit name.
- Shiny or not. A similar name is not the shiny.
- Evolution state.
- The trait on the unit.
- Whether a signature is something you are paying extra for.
Existence counts are one comparison point. They do not replace the trait. A damage trait on a shiny can matter more than a slightly lower count.
If the other player removes an item, the earlier yes no longer applies. Scroll through filler commons, uncommons, and rares, then scroll back and confirm the valuable unit is still there. Cancel if the window gets hard to follow. Decline repeated countdown cancellations and find someone else.
After the trade, open your inventory and find that exact unit, including shiny, evolution, and trait, before you offer it onward.
Scams that ask you to go second
A signing offer may include a typed tag such as [Partner]. A typed tag is not identity. The game can warn when someone falsely uses [Partner]. Check claimed partners through Telanthric Development rather than the chat label. Someone flying, announcing kicks, or claiming to be an admin does not make a handoff safe.
A trust trade asks to borrow a rare unit for one round and may leave other units as a deposit. The deposit is the only thing that trade gives you. Judge it as a finished exchange. If you would not keep that deposit forever, decline the loan.
Prices after REBALANCE
Old damage numbers are a weak reason to overpay. Every troop was retuned on November 6, 2026. The gem cap rising to 50 million does not tell you what one unit is worth. Set a gem budget for the target and stop when the offers pass it.
Duped units were given a duped tag in the November return. Do not pay a clean-unit price for a unit marked duped.
